The only debts outstanding at the end of each year since 1977 in respect of the State or semi-State bodies under the aegis of my Department related to the Agency for Personal Services Overseas (APSO) which incurred end of year bank deficits in 1979 and 1980 as follows:—1979, £81,210; 1980, £73,835. These deficits were cleared in 1981 and there have been no deficits since then.
The interest paid in respect of these debts was £1,414. The interest was paid in 1980.
