I am aware that the accommodation position at Drogheda Garda station is unsatisfactory. The question of moving to a new location has been under consideration for some time but the difficulty has been to find a suitable premises, or a site on which to build. A re-assessment of the accommodation needs has recently been carried out and the Commissioners of Public Works are at present examining the feasibility of adapting the existing premises to meet the revised requirements.
