In accordance with a Government decision, announced on 21 October, 1982, all applications received in my Department on or after that date which comply with the terms of the scheme will be paid mortgage subsidy over a five year period rather than over three years as was the case prior to that date. This application was received in 26 October, 1982, and subsidy must, therefore, be paid over five years.
