The person concerned was not available for interview on several occasions when the social welfare officer called on him, to assess his means. He recently contacted the social welfare officer and stated that he was now available for interview. The officer has, accordingly, arranged to call on the applicant within the next week. His entitlement to unemployment assistance will be determined in the light of the social welfare officer's report.
