asked the Minister for the Environment whether a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny is eligible for a grant in respect of a flat.

The file in this case is with my Department's inspector for a report with a view to payment of the grant, if in order. The Deputy will be informed of the position when the report is received.

287.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a new house grant and a mortgage subsidy will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

My Department are awaiting notification from the applicant that the house has been completed and occupied. An inspection will then be arranged with a view to payment of the grant, if in order.

When the grant is paid and the appropriate claim form submitted by the applicant, the first instalment of the mortgage subsidy will be paid, if in order.

asked the Minister for the Environment when the balance of a house improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Mayo.

There is no record in my Department of the receipt of an application for a house improvement grant from the person named.

289.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a new house grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Dublin.

The grant will be paid when an inspection establishes that the house has been satisfactorily completed and occupied and the other conditions applying to the scheme have been complied with.

The inspection will be carried out as soon as possible.
