asked the Minister for Agriculture the reason for the delay in paying a headage grant to the representatives of a person (details supplied) in County Limerick.

It is a condition of the cattle headage scheme in severely handicapped areas that an applicant must occupy and farm at least 7.5 statute acres.

As the person named owned only 2.5 acres he has been asked to furnish a legal statement confirming that he had rented a further 8.5 acres as indicated in his application. When he does, payment of cattle headage will be made.

asked the Minister for Agriculture the reason for the delay in paying a headage grant for 1982 to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick.

My Department have no record of any application under the 1982 headage schemes from the person named.

asked the Minister for Agriculture the reason for the delay in paying a farm building grant to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick.

The work in this case has only recently been certified. The grant has been paid.
