Vol. 341 No. 5

Written Answers . - Kilcolgan (Galway) Water Scheme .

495.

asked the Minister for the Environment the present position in regard to the Pollagh and Mullrook group water scheme, Kilcolgan, County Galway; and when final approval will be issued.

: There are two group water supply schemes involved here both of which will receive their supply from the Clarinbridge public water supply scheme.

The design for the scheme at Pollagh was technically cleared by the Department's inspector in November 1982 and was forwarded to Galway County Council for their examination and approval.

The design for the scheme at Mullrook was technically cleared by the Department's inspector in July 1982 and a copy was forwarded to Galway County Council in August 1982 for their examination and approval.

These schemes will be further considered as soon as the local authority's decision on the design is notified to my Department.
