: I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that financial accounts for the year of assessment 1980-81 were received by the inspector of taxes in this case in October 1982. The inspector wrote to the taxpayer on 14 December seeking clarification of certain matters contained in the figures sent to him and a reply was not received until 24 February 1983. Details of the revised charge applicable will issue to the taxpayer at an early date.
