asked the Minister for the Environment when a new house mortgage subsidy and grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny as he has been living in his house since August 1982 and as two inspections were carried out and passed in November and December 1982 with assurances given that payment would be made within two weeks following the inspections.

: The grant will be paid shortly. Payment of the mortgage subsidy will commence as soon as possible after payment of the grant.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will arrange to pay a new house grant and a mortgage subsidy to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

: The file in this case is with the inspector for investigation and report with a view to payment of the grant, if in order. Approval of the mortgage subsidy will then issue and the first instalment will be paid on receipt of the appropriate claim form.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the long delay in paying a house improvement grant to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry.

: There is no record in my Department of the receipt of an application for a house improvement grant from the person named.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the long delay in paying a £1,000 new house grant to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry.

: There has been no undue delay in this case and the grant will be paid shortly.
