asked the Minister for Education if she is aware that there is no provision for a gymnasium at St. Oliver's College, Rathmullen, Drogheda, County Louth, and that 1,000 pupils attend this college; the plans her Department has to rectify this serious problem; and when money will be provided for this project.

I have approved the provision of a physical education hall at St. Oliver's College, Rathmullen, Drogheda. A design plan is presently being prepared and will, it is expected, be completed before the end of the year.
The timescale for the erection of the hall and the provision of funding will be reviewed when planning has been completed.
