A grant sum of £100,000 has been allocated to Abbeyfeale Community Complex Committee in accordance with the terms of the capital grant scheme for the provision of community recreational facilities. In accordance with normal procedures, payment of this grant is conditional on full compliance by the local sponsoring body with the conditions of grant-aid, as detailed to the committee in the formal letter of grant offer issued on 20 December 1982. To date the Department have not received confirmation of the sponsoring body's acceptance of the conditions of grant-aid, as requested in the letter of 20 December 1982, despite reminders which were issued on 24 January 1983, 24 February 1983 and 22 March 1983. The matter of payment of grant-aid does not therefore arise at this stage.
