There is no record on my Department of an application for a housing grant from the person named. There is, however, an application from a person of the same name and a broadly similar address under a former scheme of house improvement grants. The position in this case is that a grant cannot be paid because, contrary to a qualifying condition under the particular scheme, a claim for payment of the grant was not received on or before 31 January 1980.
