Under the Housing Regulations 1980 (as amended), the latest date for completion of work and the receipt in the Department of a claim for payment of the grant was 30 June 1981. As this requirement was not complied with in this case a grant cannot be paid.

Arrangements have been made to have an inspection carried out in this case as soon as possible.

House improvement grants in respect of the building of an extra bedroom and the carrying out of necessary repairs to the basic fabrics of the house will be approved in this case on receipt of evidence of planning permission. The applicant was requested to submit the documentation on 30 August 1982.

The applicant has been requested to submit a floor plan of his house. His application will be processed further as soon as this is received.

An inspection of the house in this case has been carried out and the grant will be paid as soon as possible.
