asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will give details in respect of his Department or any office under his control of each person employed as a special adviser or consultant on contract by way of excluding order or otherwise appointed to that office or Department other than through the Civil Service Commission during the periods 5 July 1977 to 30 June 1981 and 9 March to 14 December 1982; the grades at which each such person served; the rate of remuneration paid; the dates at which the employments of any such persons ceased; if he will give details of any such persons who were appointed as permanent civil servants; the grade and rate of remuneration of persons so appointed; and the total cost of remunerating such persons in 1977, 1978, 1979, 1980, 1981 and 1982 from the dates of their initial employment.
