Vol. 343 No. 11

Written Answers. - Lispole (Kerry) National School.

673.

asked the Minister for Finance the reason the national school at Lispole, County Kerry, is not going ahead; the reason plans have not been approved by his Department; and the date on which revised plans for the school were received.

The original sketch plan for the proposed central national school at Lispole to replace Minard Castle and Cloonacurra National Schools were approved by the Department of Education in December 1980 but were subsequently amended by that Department and the reverend manager and a change in the original site was agreed. This necessitates the preparation of a revised sketch scheme which it is planned to commence at an early date.
