asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding the proposed new school at Lettermacaward, County Donegal.

My Department await a report from the Commissioners of Public Works on the suitability of a site recently offered by the school authorities for the proposed new national school at Lettermacaward, County Donegal. It is understood from the commissioners that it will be necessary to have trial holes dug and a site survey carried out to determine the suitability of the site and that this will be done at an early date.

asked the Minister for Education when it is proposed to approve the outline sketch in respect of Stranorlar vocational school, County Donegal.

The preliminary design proposals for a new vocational school at Stranorlar, County Donegal, are undergoing detailed technical examination in my Department's building unit. This examination will be completed shortly and my Department will then be in touch with the committee in the normal way regarding further progress.

asked the Minister for Education if she will make finance available to repair Coláiste ChúUladh, Ballinamore, County Donegal.

The operation of the all-Irish school in Ballinamore under the aegis of the County Donegal Vocational Education Committee was sanctioned on a trial basis for the 1982-83 school year. The operation of the school for the 1983-84 school year is at present being examined and the question of carrying out major repairs to the building will be considered in the context of the decision reached on the future operation of the school.
