I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that the returns of income for the years 1978-79 to 1982-83, inclusive, issued by the inspector of taxes on 2 September 1982, were returned completed by the taxpayer in April 1983. Additional information requested by the inspector was supplied in May 1983. The position for the years involved is currently being reviewed by the inspectors and a full statement setting out the present position for all years will be issued to the taxpayer shortly.
