The Department's inspector was unable to inspect this house on 27 May 1983 as the applicant was not at home at the time. Provisional approval to a grant has since issued and a final inspection will be arranged when the applicant notifies my Department that his house is completed and occupied.

The mortgage subsidy cannot be approved in this case until the applicant submits the information requested by my Department on 12 November 1982 and provided that all the conditions of the scheme are met.
If the applicant is approved for the mortgage subsidy he can claim payment of the first instalment when at least six months have elapsed from the date of execution of the mortgage deed.

There is no record in my Department of the receipt of an application for a new house grant from the person named.
