asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will investigate the telephone account of a person (details supplied) in County Roscommon; and the reason a free rental allowance is not allowed.

The present subscriber, who is ineligible for inclusion in the subsidised telephone rental scheme, is transferring the line to his son who has been deemed eligible by the Department of Social Welfare. The appropriate rental rebate will be allowed in a future account to issue.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when telephones will be supplied to all applicants in Glenmore Estate and White-church Estate, Dublin 16; and the present position.

It is expected that service will be provided to all applicants in the estates named within about a year.
