asked the Minister for the Environment the position regarding the proposed Doonloughane group water supply scheme, Connemara, County Galway.

A certificate of approval provisionally allocating State grants, totalling £31,388, issued to the Doonloughane group on 29 March 1983, as follows: 43 domestic water supply grants at £516, £22,188; 23 potential farm water supply grants at £400, £9,200; Total — £31,388.

The Department's local inspector reported recently that the local contribution had not been collected and work had not commenced on the scheme.

asked the Minister for the Environment the position regarding Mannin group water supply scheme, Connemara, County Galway.

On 7 March 1983 a letter issued to the organiser of the Mannin group water scheme informing her that Galway County Council had agreed to make a supply of water available to the group and advising her that she should arrange to have the scheme designed. The design is now awaitied in my Department.
