A provision of £80,000 has been made in the road grant allocations for 1983 to meet the full cost of traffic route lighting at Station Road, Leixlip.
I am not yet in a position to take a decision on the public lighting scheme proposed for the national roads in Kilcock. The financing of the lighting improvements on the other roads in the town is primarily a matter for Kildare County Council.
