asked the Minister for Justice the number of drug sniffing dogs attached to the Garda Síochána; and the training facilities available.

Limerick East): I am informed by the Garda authorities that one dog which has been trained in detecting drugs is attached to the Drug Unit in Dublin and that training given to the dog consisted of practical training in locating samples of drugs.
