Vol. 344 No. 9

Written Answers. - Child Care Facilities.

369.

asked the Minister for Labour the action, if any, the Government proposes to take on the report of the working party on child care facilities for working parents.

Due regard will be had to the working party's recommendations on the control of day care facilities for children in the forthcoming Children Bill which is currently being prepared by the Minister for Health.

When releasing the report for publication on 10 March 1983 I urged all the various representative bodies and interest groups to make known their attitudes to the recommendations in the report. In this way, the Government and individual Ministers concerned will have the benefit of all points of view in considering what action should be taken and in the ordering of policy priorities.
