The resettlement committee for Vietnamese refugees which was established in my Department are completing their work in the final phase of the programme. The living conditions provided for the refugees who came here in 1979, and for their relatives who were subsequently admitted, are satisfactory. By and large, the refugees are successfully integrating into the settled community.
