The purchase of land in County Donegal for forestry purposes will be pushed ahead as rapidly as possible, depending on the number of offers received and the availability of funds. As at a recent date my Department had entered into contracts for the purchase of some 1,500 acres for the enlargement of the forest estate in the county.
