Grants up to a maximum of £800 per hectare of the approved cost of forestry development projects are now available from this Department under the terms of a forestry scheme subvented by the EEC as part of the western package. Fifty per cent of the cost of the grants paid is eligible for recoupment from EEC funds. I have asked that a copy of the brochure outlining the scheme be sent to the Deputy forthwith.
