asked the Minister for Fisheries and Forestry (a) the number of cubic metres of (i) saw log, (ii) pallet wood and (iii) pulp wood of native grown larch, spruce, douglas fir and other species of timber available for processing on a commercial basis in the Twenty-Six counties; (b) the quantity of each species and category from this native stock is processed for use in the construction and allied industries domestically; and (c) the quantity of each species and category exported and imported in 1975, 1976, 1977, 1978, 1979, 1980, 1981 and 1982 and in 1983 up to the period for which figures are available; and (d) the projections that have been made regarding domestic need for and supply of timber for the next five years.
