I would draw the attention of the Deputy to the terms of Circular No. 19/83 of April 1983 in which it is stated as follows:
The provisions of Circulars 15/78 and 17/79 are hereby rescinded in so far as concerns the making of a new appointment or an appointment in succession to the holder of an existing appointment who resigns from the post.
I may add that it does not appear that a clerk-typist served in accordance with the terms of the relevant scheme in the school mentioned by the Deputy since the introduction of the scheme in 1978.
