The Final Report of the Working Party on Local Authority Superannuation was submitted in April 1982 and has been the subject of detailed examination by my Department in consultation with a number of other Departments concerned. Owing to the complexity of the matter no decisions have yet been taken in relation to this report but it is hoped that decisions in this regard will be made as soon as possible.
