Vol. 345 No. 1

Written Answers. - Allihies (Cork) Turbary.

451.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if turbaries will be made available to small holders in the Allihies area in County Cork; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The Land Commission hold rights of turbary over an area of some 65 acres in the townlands of Coom and Knockaura in the Allihies area. The question of selling these rights to suitable applicants is under examination. In the meantime, bog plots are available for letting on a seasonal basis.
