asked the Minister for Education if she will outline her Department's plans for a third level college on the site designated by Dublin County Council between Swords and Malahide; the intended scope of the college; its size; and the expected opening date.
I propose to take Question Nos. 485 and 486 together.
A site has been acquired for a regional college which it is proposed should be built in Tallaght. A decision has not yet been taken in regard to the date by which the college should be available.
The question of the provision of a regional technical college in the north Dublin area is still under consideration and a decision in the matter may be taken in connection with the formulation of a plan for educational developments over the period 1983-87.
