asked the Minister for Labour the plans for an AnCO training centre in Gweedore, County Donegal; and if it is intended to maintain Gweedore as a permanent training centre.

The AnCO training centre in Gweedore is a permanent training centre and it is AnCO policy to retain it as such. The levels of training activity in Gweedore will be maintained in response to identified training needs. The details of the plans are shown on the tabular statement:

asked the Minister for Labour the number attending training courses in the AnCO training centre, Gweedore, County Donegal, at present; and the number attending courses this time last year.

On 30th September 1983 there were 159 people attending training courses run by the AnCO Training Centre in Gweedore, County Donegal including participants in community youth training programmes. The corresponding figure in 1982 was 183.
