Contract documents for the Butlersbridge sewerage scheme are under consideration in my Department. Having regard to the need to conserve available capital for major water and sewerage schemes in progress or getting to construction at present I cannot say when I will be in a position to convey a decision on the documents to Cavan County Council.
The question of financing the scheme will not arise until the contract documents have been approved and a recommendation for the acceptance of tenders is subsequently submitted to my Department.
