The land in question is held in commonage by ten landowners, including the person mentioned — all of whom have agreed to sell their interests to my Department. However, some of the vendors wish to retain turbary on the lands and efforts are being made to accommodate them. It is hoped that these efforts will be successful in which case the acquisition process, including the payment of agreed compensation, will be completed as quickly as possible.
