Vol. 346 No. 6

Written Answers. - School Extension.

202.

asked the Minister for Education when improvements and an extension will be provided at Naomh Mhuire national school, Kilsheelan, Clonmel, County Tipperary, as there is gross over-crowding and as this problem has existed for a considerable number of years.

My Department recently sanctioned a grant in respect of improvement works at Naomh Mhuire national school, Kilsheelan, Clonmel, County Tipperary. Payment of grant is a matter for the Commissioners of Public Works on satisfactory completion of the improvements. My Department await the outcome of a feasibility study being undertaken by the Commissioners in connection with a proposal to extend the present school building.
