asked the Minister for the Environment the number of undetermined appeals with An Bord Pleanála on a county by county basis under the following headings: appeals over (1) two years, (2) 18 months, (3) 12 months, (4) nine months, (5) six months and (6) three months.

According to the returns furnished to my Department by An Bord Pleanála, the number of undetermined appeals at 31 October 1983 was 2,792. Details of planning appeals on hands for periods of over two years and over 18 months are not furnished separately. The following is the breakdown for the other periods requested:
