asked the Minister for the Environment when a house improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

This grant has been paid.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a mortgage subsidy will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

Payment of the mortgage subsidy cannot be made in this case until further information regarding the mortgage is received in my Department.

378.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a £1,000 new house grant and a mortgage subsidy will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Carlow.

A grant will be paid when an inspection establishes that the house has been satisfactorily completed and occupied and that all the conditions applying to the grant scheme have been complied with. The inspection will be carried out as soon as possible. Payment of the mortgage subsidy cannot commence until the grant has been paid.
