The Government have decided that the lands at Loughatalia which the Galway Harbour Commissioners are anxious to acquire should be sold on the open market and arrangements for the sale are proceeding accordingly.
In the circumstances the question of an application by Galway Harbour Commissioners for outline planning permission for the lands is entirely a matter for the commissioners.
