The new extension at the Rotunda Hospital involves the provision of a five-storey block which will contain two new ward units, an operating theatre suite and a delivery suite.
Before the five-storey block can be proceeded with it will be necessary to relocate the hospital out-patient department to make a site available for the development. I have given my approval to the plan to relocate the out-patient department.
