Vol. 346 No. 10

Written Answers. - School Bus Overcrowding.

132.

asked the Minister for Education if she is aware of the severe overcrowding of school buses at present and the steps that she has taken to alleviate the situation and to ensure that children are carried securely and safely both to and from schools.

133.

asked the Minister for Education if she is aware of the present gross overcrowding of school buses throughout the country; the steps she is prepared to take to alleviate the situation; and when it is expected that the service will be back to normal.

I propose to take Questions Nos. 132 and 133 together.

I am not so aware. If the Deputy knows of any such situations and furnishes me with particulars of them, I will have the necessary investigations made.
