Vol. 347 No. 1

Written Answers. - Tax Refund.

335.

asked the Minister for Finance the reason for the delay in providing a tax refund to a person (details supplied) in County Dublin; and if it will be paid to him immediately.

The Revenue Commissioners have advised me that, because the reviews involved in this case covered a period of three years, there has been some unavoidable delay in bringing the matter to finality.

The reviews have been carried out and a refund of the tax overdeducted for the years 1980-81 to 1982-83 was made to the taxpayer on 20 December 1983.
