asked the Minister for Finance the total number of buildings, offices, stores, etc., rented by all Government Departments, semi-State bodies, agencies etc. on 31 December 1983, the location of each; the amount of rent being paid for each; the area of each; the number of staff permanently working at each location; if any of these buildings are sub-let; the length of the renting period for each location and/or lease; and the rent reviews to which they are subject.

asked the Minister for Finance the total number of public buildings built by successive Governments since 1960; the exact location of each building; the tendered contract cost for each building and the date of the signed contract; the total completion cost for each building; the date on which each building was completed; the agreed completion time on each contract for each building; the areas of each building; the number of staff working in each building; if any of these buildings are sub-let to any other organisation or company or Department and the location of each of these sub-let buildings.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 375 and 376 together.
It would not be possible in the time available to provide all the information sought in the questions. If the Deputy will repeat his questions in approximately a month's time I will endeavour to have such information as is available in the Office of Public Works ready then.
