Vol. 347 No. 1

Written Answers. - Christmas Cards.

519.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare the number of Christmas cards issued from his office and that of his Minister of State in 1983; and the total cost including postage.

The number and cost of Christmas cards issued in 1983 is as follows:

Deputy Barry Desmond, Minister for Health and Social Welfare: 500 cards costing £142.00.

Deputy Séamus Pattison, Minister of State at the Department of Social Welfare: 200 cards costing £80.00.

Deputy Fergus O'Brien, former Minister of State at the Department of Health and at the Department of Social Welfare: 750 cards costing £206.50.

As all the Christmas cards concerned were dispatched as normal departmental post no separate record was kept of the cost of postage.
