asked the Minister for Agriculture the reasons a western drainage grant has not been paid to a person (details supplied) in County Galway; the date on which he will be paid; the amount of grant that will be paid; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The grant of £2,604 under the Western Drainage Scheme will be paid shortly together with a number of other grants certified about the same time.

asked the Minister for Agriculture the reasons farm development service grants and farm guidance premiums have not been paid to a person (details supplied) in County Galway; the date on which they will be paid; the amount that will be paid; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The local office of the Department has not been notified that the farm buildings work has been completed. When notification is received a final inspection will be carried out and if the work is satisfactorily completed the grant will be paid without delay.

The guidance premium is at present being processed and if all the conditions of the scheme are found to have been satisfied, payment will be made.
