Vol. 347 No. 1

Written Answers. - Carrick-on-Shannon School Extension.

589.

asked the Minister for Education when the extension to St. Mary's boys' school, Carrick-on-Shannon, County Leitrim, will be sanctioned, as the present prefab is leaking and is totally unsuitable.

The Commissioners of Public Works have been requested by my Department to furnish their recommendations on the feasibility of extending or adapting St. Mary's boys' national school, Carrick-on-Shannon, County Leitrim, to provide accommodation in five classrooms and a general purposes room.

My Department will write to the chairman of the school's board of management when the commissioners' report has been received and considered.
