With regard to (1), the information which is contained in the following tabular statement has been extracted from estimates provided by local authorities for 1983 and relates to the major charges introduced under new legislation and regulations in 1983 in so far as these could be separately identified. With regard to estimated revenue from service charges generally, I would refer the Deputy to the reply to his question of 30 November 1983 in the Official Report, Volume 346, column 712.
