asked the Minister for Finance if he will ensure that a person (details supplied) in Dublin 6 gets the necessary tax documentation as it is obstructing her entitlement benefit; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that, from the information available, the taxpayer's last employment was from 6 March 1983 to 24 November 1983. It is understood that the company involved is now in liquidation and that the liquidator is endeavouring to obtain the particulars necessary to prepare a P45 for the period of employment.

The payment of social insurance benefits and pay in lieu of notice would be matters for the Minister for Social Welfare and the Minister for Labour respectively.
