I am advised by the Revenue Commissioners that they have authorised repayment of the VAT paid on the car and that a cheque for the sum involved has issued.
Repayments of excise duty under the disabled drivers scheme are made through the companies which paid the duty in the first instance. A repayment to the company in the present case is expected to be made shortly.
