Over the period 1982 to mid-1983 officers of my Department carried out an extensive survey and appraisal of those areas in County Galway not classified as more severely handicapped. A list of those areas has already been forwarded to the Deputy.
With regard to the eventual outcome of the review of the boundaries of the disadvantaged areas, I would refer the Deputy to my reply of 14 December 1983 to questions on this matter.
