Vol. 350 No. 4

Written Answers. - Hartstown (Dublin) Health Care Centre.

591.

asked the Minister for Health if it is proposed to establish a proper health care facility in Hartstown, County Dublin; when the building of the health centre will commence; the estimated completion date; the facilities that will be available within the centre.

The provision of a health centre, in Hartstown, Blanchardstown, has been approved in principle by my Department. A site for a health complex, to include the new centre, a day nursery and a welfare home, has been purchased by the Eastern Health Board. It is not possible to say when the construction can be undertaken within the allocation of funds made available for the planning or construction of projects proposed for the newly developing areas of greater Dublin.

While no decision has been taken on the facilities to be provided at Hartstown it is probable that they will include services now being provided from Mount View House, Clonsilla, and Roselawn, Blanchardstown.
